we are using poll SCM option with schedule for building a project when any SCM changes happen. Repository name and branch name is hard coded in the build job. But have noticed that if the branch is  not present in that specific repo, the job keeps triggering. what can we do?

 

ours is a multibranch and multi jenkins environment.. and job triggreing for no branch is a problem as it uses the executors. any help??
