We started using Docker Plugin 1.1.5 with Jenkins 2.140 and we are seeing this "application/vnd.docker.raw-stream header" message more frequently:
[WORK] Cannot contact docker-541fd24e1e5f7: hudson.remoting.RequestAbortedException: java.io.IOException: Expected 8 bytes application/vnd.docker.raw-stream header, got 2
appears to be completely random .. I have various pipelines with stages and there's not any common thing across my pipelines that I can link to this error. Container is up and being communicated with and next thing you know this error shows up and the container is gone and the job sits there as if it was still working ...
If it wasn't for noticing that random stages are reporting back how long they have been running and noticing when they are running FOR HOURS when they normally take seconds/minutes then I wouldn't have noticed the problem.
