jiraGetIssueRemoteLinks does not work

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

jiraGetIssueRemoteLinks does not work if I do not provide the argument globalId.

WorkflowScript: 6: Missing required parameter: "globalId" @ line 6, column 17.

I don't know what globalId to provide, I just want to list the remote links (name and url would be nice).

I tested with version 1.4.4 of the plugin

Or maybe I did not understand the documentation? https://jenkinsci.github.io/jira-steps-plugin/steps/issuelink/jira_get_remote_issuelinks/ it says globalId is optional

Look at the JIRA documentation, it varies based the JIRA instance configuration, the error is from the JIRA server itself, so please look at the JIRA API and docs based on the JIRA version you are using.

Hi Naresh, thank you for your quick reply. Indeed I only read the jira-steps-plugin doc. I understand now! I got it working using the globalId. I let you close the issue. Indeed it looks like there is a problem in jira-steps-plugin regarding method jiraGetRemoteIssueLinks. The doc says globalId is optional..but it's needed
