%NODE_NAME% does not resolve in 'Execute Windows batch command' on master (It works on the slave)

      master is Windows server 2003, slave is Windows XP

      In windows batch command, 'echo %NODE_NAME%' is ran on the node and returns the node name, but on the master it does not get resolved.

      This is especially strange because if I will use the ${NODE_NAME} notation in a ClearCase view name, it is resolved on both the master and the slave.
