      Given that Atlassian is removing Mercurial support from BB Cloud at the end of the month, and never supported Mercurial to begin with in Server, the plugin should be simplified by removing the mercurial plugin dependency and all associated code.

          [Update July 1, 2020] Today, mercurial repositories, snippets, and wikis will turn to read-only mode. After July 8th, 2020 they will no longer be accessible.

          I see no evidence of these repositories not “being accessible” so far. Who knows.
