What I'm looking for is a way to push summary text in between build operations.   In a way I'm trying to replicate the pipeline stage steps in a freestyle job but on the summary page.

This plugin does exactly what I need but only runs after everything is done.  But as I said I'm looking to put information in during the build.   Any way we could get a build step?
