Symbolic links are hidden and not displayed in the file browser list

      According to SECURITY-1452, symbolic links are hidden and not displayed in the file browser because they might allow access to locations outside the directory.

      Is it possible to check the symbolic links and make sure the files exist in the workspace folder ( or to check the files' path ) instead of hiding them?
