Can not use a Root DN with spaces

      If your your Root DN contains spaces then it is not possible to enter this in the "Root DN" for use.
      leaving the entry blank works, but if you try and enter it then login fails as the DN is "escaped" and then not found.

      This appears to have regressed with the Acegi/Spring security change.
