Regarding this issue: https://issues.jenkins.io/browse/JENKINS-69918
In github-branch-source-plugin the generated projects settings can not be modified. Editing the config.xml of the generated projects also does not work despite restarting jenkins.
Maybe it would be easier to provide a global configuration option in jenkins to change the default folder icon for:
- jenkins.branch.MultiBranchProject.newDefaultFolderIcon()
Which currently defaults to MetadataActionFolderIcon.
The goal would be to select an icon (BuildStatusFolderIcon) from this plugin: https://plugins.jenkins.io/custom-folder-icon/
