I don't usually use hudson navigation links, standard Hudson link to the upper level in the left upper corner is too little. There should be a button redirecting to upper level. It would make interface more intuitive.

I'd be happy to review and apply a patch, but otherwise I don't foresee any time to work on this soon.

I thought I'd take a look at this, because nested views are confusing our manager-type users, and the "Hudson" link in the top left doesn't jump out as "Click here to go back to the top level". What I've seen is a blank look, followed by pressing the back button until they get where they wanted to be.

(If "Hudson" said "Dashboard" instead, that might be enough...)

Do you (mindless) have ideas on a good starting point for this? Looking through the plugin, the difficulty I'm facing is that when you're viewing one of the child views, that view itself is not a nested view, so any enhancements made to the nested-view plugin itself will not show up when viewing that nested view. Everything I can think of would require a change to core instead of the plugin.

Sorry for not replying.. yes, that is the fundamental difficulty with adjusting the nested views UI. All I can think of is some sort of delegate view.. ie a class in this plugin where you can make changes, and it mainly just delegates to another view, but could add in little things like another button. Not sure how feasible this is though..
