unable to edit freestyle project jenkin job

      in our environment couple of jobs are freestyle project & pipeline jobs configured. However we are able to edit Pipeline jobs but not able to edit freestyle jobs in jenkin.

      We are trying to edit content in below section in freestyle project jobs

      in freestyle jobs --> bulid steps --> Execute Windows batch command

       

      Jenkin version : 2.452.3

          Are you actually using the plugin or are you just using the built-in (for now) freestyle project? The freestyle-project-plugin is a break-out of the built-in feature into a plugin. It is not currently installed as part of Jenkins mainly. 

           

          In general though, you'll will need to provide a lot more detail in order to get help.

          Such problems are a sign of having outdated plugins. Make sure all your plugins are up-to-date.

          If the problem persists, check the Jenkins log for the logging ID that you get (as in the screenshot) and provide the stack trace from there. That will give a pointer what is wrong.
