The i7ie instance types aren't listed.  Previous issues suggest this would require an AWS SDK update.

          [JENKINS-75431] Support i7ie instances

harryr7 thanks for your interest in the new instance types. A draft EC2 plugin pull request has been submitted, but it needs testing by Jenkins users. Since you've expressed interest by submitting this issue, are you willing to test the incremental build in a non-production copy of your environment?

Testing for the various use cases of the EC2 plugin seems like the most important part of its transition to AWS Java SDK v2, but that needs people who are willing to do that testing and report the results.

          Thanks for the quick reply.

I suspected it might mean an upgrade to AWS SDK 2, fantastic to see you're already on the case.  I will test it next week!

So far so good, I'm able to select and launch i7ie machines from a job on demand and the node was spun down after being considered idle.  I will keep running the plugin to see if any issues creep out of the woodwork, but things are looking pretty promising so far!
