When you first install Jenkins a relatively funny message awaits you:
"Welcome to Jenkins! Please <a href="newJob">create new jobs</a> to get started."
The link is b0rked, and it's somewhat embarrassing since it's been like that since I can remember it (2 years ago).
I think the link should be:
<href="newJob">New Job</a>
I mean, I don't mind it, you only see it on a new Jenkins without jobs. But for a new user, seeing HTML on the homepage of a web app is kind of... funky

[JENKINS-9425] Create new jobs link is broken for new install
Description |
Original:
When you first install Jenkins a relatively funny message awaits you: "Welcome to Jenkins! Please <a href="newJob">create new jobs</a> to get started." The link is b0rked, and it's somewhat embarrassing since it's been like that since I can remember it (2 years ago). I think the link should be: <href="newJob">New Job</a> I mean, I don't mind it, but if I would be a new user trying Jenkins, seeing a page with HTML on it wouldn't make me feel Jenkins is a reliable solution if it can't print a link on its home page :) |
