The custom warnings parser requires entry of a regexpr.
It is also possible to enter an Example Log Message in a separate box which is then parsed by the regexpr and the expected output shown.
After saving this Example Log Message (the test case) is lost and not stored. On returning to this page the box is empty.

It would be best if this test case/example log message persisted, both for reference and when improving/correcting the reg-expr
