Allow Jenkins comment/close/... issues on Redmine

I would like the Redmine plugin behaves like the Jenkisn JIRA Plugin (https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/JIRA+Plugin) that allows user commenting the Issues.

Since you already implemented a set of regexp that recognize keywords like fixes, closes, ... Redmine REST APIs could be used to perform related operations on Redmine.

Username/password are missing on the UI side to access to Redmine.

      Count on me for tests!!!

          Hi.

This plugin don't yet support Redmine REST APIs.
To support, because it requires major changes not immediately.
However, this proposal I think it's good. I will implement as soon as possible

          Thanks for quick feedback!!!
I just found that someone else already implemented a Java library[1] to interact with Redmine REST APIs, I think it could be a good starting point - you are free to include it as a dependency or just kindly borrow needed classes (it's ASL2.0 licensed).
          Thanks in advance!

Is this plugin still maintained. There are no updates since years now.
          Thats sad
