Wall Display Plugin does not work with Maven jobs

      Wall Display Plugin (https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Wall+Display+Plugin) does not work with Maven jobs.

      The display opens projects, but the ones built using Maven are all displayed in grey and are not changing when failed, running, aborted etc..
      Maven jobs remain displayed in grey (with no build number) on the Wall display.

      "Use custom text for Walldisplay" feature also does not work for Maven jobs.

          The Java Webstart based Display Client is deprecated and superseded by a HTML based solution. The new version covers the current functionality and should also work for maven jobs.
