A javascript error occurs when loading the build configuration page using Internet Explorer. The error is:

      Object required
      hudson-behavior.js Line:884, char: 33

This error prevents the gray "loading" overlay from hiding, which prevents editing the build configuration completely in Internet Explorer 8. Note, the page works fine using FireFox.

[JENKINS-11521] JavaScript error on job configuration screen prevents editing jobs using Internet Explorer

I cannot reproduce the issue with Jenkins 1.436 and IE8 on Windows XP SP-3.
Could you specify Jenkins version and installed plugins?

Thanks for the quick reply. Our team uses Windows 7 with IE 8. I recently installed the "mask passwords" plugin and found it to be problematic on the config page so I uninstalled it. Maybe this is part of the problem.

Here are the plugins that I have (taken from the jenkins/plugins directory):

          active-directory
          analysis-collector
          analysis-core
          ant
          audit-trail

Forgot, jenkins version is 1.436. We did not notice this in the previous version. The "mask passwords" plugin was also installed for the first time under 1.436.

I could not reproduce the issue.
