          Nice one

          Questions:

          • Is there anything displayed in the logs? A stack trace?
          • Apart from UI being broken, are the permissions defined in roles still honored when a user logs in?

with Active Directory 1.21 we can't login - buggy

the logs are empty, it's only a display problem.
the defiened permissions are still working.

Hmm, I don't see anything in Role Strategy code base which could cause that. Is there a simple way to create an AD instance on a Windows XP machine so that I try to reproduce the issue?

I'm only using the AD instance (Domain) of my company.
Normally you only have to fill the "Domain Name" at the configuration.

As an additional info about the error:
After accessing the "Assign Roles" page and seeing the error, the user is also logged out

          Duplicate of JENKINS-11720.
