Apple introduced in iOS 4 the ability to perform ad hoc distribution for mobile applications. This kind of deployment only requires the application and an application descriptor (a simple .plist file) to be served by an HTTP server. It would be nice for the xcode plugin to provide such a feature with this functionalities:

• deploy an ad hoc distribution profile along with the application (or generate an .ipa file embedding the profile)
• sign the application with a dedicated distribution certificate
