Ability to rebuild non-parameterized projects

      Please add a "rebuild" button for non-parameterized jobs.

      Use-case:

      1. Build is broken due to missing configuration files on a Slave node
      2. Attempt to fix the problem (external to Jenkins)
      3. Rebuild the job and see if the problem is resolved, if not go back to step 2.

          Isn't this already available via "build now"? Or what would be the difference of "rebuild" in this case?

          You're right except for one problem: there is no "build now" button in the build details view. You have to navigate up one level in order to "build now".
