Jenkins is running within a Tomcat 6.0.36 / Java 7u9

      1.480.1 works as expected

      with 1.480.2, if trying to start a slave via JNLP, I get an error 403 from the server.

      http://$JENKINS/computer/$SLAVE/slave-agent.jnlp
      =>
      HTTP request sent, awaiting response... 403 Forbidden
      2013-01-07 15:17:43 ERROR 403: Forbidden.

          [JENKINS-16272] LTS 1.480.2 breaks launching slaves via jnlp

          Maybe this is of importance:

          Coming from 1.480.1 I just exchanged the jenkins.war with 1.480.2

          Not a bug; you need to use an authenticated login now to access slave-agent.jnlp.

          @sbreitbach please use “Not a Defect” as “Fixed” implies that some code change was made to produce a fix.
