[JENKINS-19151] stop build running very slowly

Needs much more information for further investigation, e.g. output of /threadDump page which a job is being canceled. Chances are, one or more post-build steps are running (e.g. "archive the artifacts") and that just takes some time.

I am currently using version 1 and the problem disappeared. After executing the body of work just published the results of the test using the plugin xunit and cppcheck results.

This only happened when the job failed or stopped using the link STOP in the executions's queue.
