The terms "Project" or "Job" seem to be used interchangeably, which is confusing
(at least to a new user like myself).

      "New Job" vs. "Delete Project"

Clicking on "job" Foo from the dashboard brings up page "Project Foo".

      etc.

          [JENKINS-1968] "Project" or "Job"?

True. "Job" refers to all items in Hudson, and a project is a particular subtype
of job, but I guess such distinction is confusing for users.

It's not very easy to make this all consistent, unfortunately, but at least
we'll see if we can update HTML.

I am writing documentation to explain how to use Jenkins and I find myself having to explain that clicking on "New Job" creates a "Project". Very confusing. I think it is worth cleaning up the HTML.

          Duplicates JENKINS-7628.
