Copy artifacts remotely under a set of credentials.

I'm not entirely sure about how Jenkins runs on Linux (Apache?) but on Windows it's usual to install it as a Windows service. As such, it usually runs under the ubiquitous user "Local System" or "Local System". This deploy tool should be able to use stored credentials to do it's file copies. That would be a great deal more secure than me being forced to run all of Jenkins under a user with system-wide credentials just so it can copy files to a network drive.

I don't understand. Cloud you specify what do you expect?

I think this can be closed out. Basically I wanted to be able to specify the credentials used by the deployer for file copy. We ultimately created a service account that Jenkins runs under that has permissions to the deployment drives we copy files to.
