The 'All' view in Jenkins has no 'Edit View' menu, so you cannot edit it's columns, making it rather useless (unless you happen to like the default columns)

[JENKINS-22340] Cannot configure colums of 'All' view

Oleg Nenashev added a comment -

As designed. All View is just a last hope if you install a buggy column to your personal views. Hence it takes a minimal set of columns.

BTW, you can set another view as a default one.

You probably mean, that you install a buggy column, which breaks your personal views, so you can't open them anymore? I fail to see how the All View is going to help you in that case, especially when you have already set a different view as the default one, as you describe later.

So to me, the All View is mostly useless and broken by design.

Yes, the view is not very useful.
You can get rid of it on your installations. See https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Editing+or+Replacing+the+All+View

Oleg: All view shows all columns that nominate themselves to be 'default' columns. So if you have the (lazy-loading unfriendly) Projects Statistics Plugin installed, its column is shown on All.

Still, not a bug, there's no configuration by design. Whether that's a good idea, IDK.

FWIW the class hierarchy for View is completely broken anyway…
