github oauth with 'Github Commiter Authorization Strategy' does not have a setting for allowing anonymous access to just the 'ViewStatus'

      We have private repos and currently the only way to use the buildstatus plugin is to allow read to anonymous. This means that anyone can read the work dir for instance.

      What I'd like to see is another option to allow Anonymous access to just the ViewStatus permission

          FWIW, I agree. I would like to see this allowed through (or some more controls on what is allowed through) as I can't allow READ for everybody just to show the build status.

          Since this issue is old I am closing it. Try using the latest release. If it is still an issue in the latest release then file a new issue and link back to this one.

          Using matrix-based authorization is now documented.
