Information added to the footer seems to expand upwards with the result that it shadows controls/information on the main page

added a comment - While this may be fixable in the general UI it would be good perhaps if the continuous growth in the error log could be contained. Say something like presenting the last 5 or 10 messages only. This would prevent an overnight problem with many error messages generated resulting in a footer filling the visible page.

The scm sync configuration plugin is deprecated. No further work is expected on the plugin.
Users of this plugin are encouraged to migrate their jobs to Pipeline Plugin, so that their jobs will be specified in pipeline code that can be checked into an SCM, all without using the SCM Sync configuration plugin.
Users of this plugin are also encouraged to use the Configuration as Code Plugin to specify the configuration of their Jenkins server in a file which can be checked into an SCM, all without using the SCM Sync configuration plugin.
Should probably be fixed in SCM Sync Plugin, and only if no reasonable solution is possible reassign to core to change the layout to account for this.
