I just updated the emma plugin from 1.1 to 1.2 and couldn't figure if the plugin
had actually been reloaded, so I went to "manage hudson" -> "Manage Plugins" but
the installed plugin page does not carry that information.

went to the server logs too but couldn't find it either.

that would be nice, especially with the ever growing number of plugins
