SCM Sync not triggering when saving jobs with spaces in the name

      The scm scync plugin is only committing when I make changes under manage Jenkins.

          1. I started a fresh jenkins instance and tested using a fresh job and fresh git repo and this works fine.
          2. I turned off sync, deleted the config files and created a fresh git repo and updated my settings to point to it and the problem still persists. So there is something about my jobs that the plugin doesn't like.

          This appears to only impact jobs that have spaces in the name.

          We see it on a daily base if the job name has a space. The plugin did not commit the changes. We perform a manual commit on the repository and delete the fail.log file.
