Validate whether a regexp is well formatted

      As I Jenkins user I would like to have a way to validate whether a particular regex is well formatted beforehand.

      There was a bug which has been already fixed ( JENKINS-27402 ) but still if you don't specify the right regex it won't apply properly and might be hard to debug.
