Failing test age not set properly

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

When two or more tests have the same method name but in different classes then the "failedSince" node in the junit.xml file is never set properly. In fact the value is always the currect build id.

I attached a sample of a ".trx" generated with vstest.console.exe. If you build more than once then you will always get an Age of "1".

          Hi Charles,

No, there's nothing peculiar to this issue.

It's just that, knowing a little how the mstest plugin works, I think that this issue originates out of its code.. So, since my time is limited, I prefer to focus on other issues. Those which cost less to fix.

If you've another opinion, it's welcome. If you have time to spare, you're welcome too.

And.. Yes, I can be wrong!

All right, just wanted to know whether I filled the form properly!
