(Praqma case 13124) Write tests to secure backward compatibility between 1.x and 2.x of the plugin when upgrading

Using the Jenkins test harness, write tests to show that we can upgrade from 1.x to new 2.x release (soon to come) without loosing job configuration or graph history on the jobs.
