The Job and Slave Ownership Plugin allows users to define who is the owner of a specific build, so that owner can be contacted when the build fails.
The next logical step would be to include such information (if required) in the Build Monitor Plugin.
This way, one can glance at the dashboard and see what jobs are in unstable/failed state and immediately contact their owners without needing to click on each job.
