      vmware vSphere 6.0.0

I've just starting setting up Jenkins, and all the functionality seems to work apart from powering on a VM, which times out waiting for the IP address. The VM is using CentOS 7.

VMTools are up and running on the VM and attempting to broadcast the IP address as far as I can make out.

I've attached the build log, and the vmtools logs from the server.

        2. vmsvc.log

[JENKINS-30723] Timeout waiting to get IP during power on

It turns out the version of open-vm-tools I was using wasn't returning the IP address correctly. Uninstalling it and installing from the vSphere CD fixed the problem.

There was an issue in the version of open-vm-tools I was using. Reinstalling vmtools through the vSphere CD fixed it.
