Additional Information:

I would like to suggest one usecase i.e, Password reset option through email

when jenkins application users forgot their password they should reset password by themself

jenkins application should send a password link through respective users emails to reset their password

This usecase will avoid jenkins admin to become the bottleneck for resetting the password

This issue has been created with the component active-choices-plugin, but looks like it is not related to that plug-in and hence was closed. Please feel free to re-open it if necessary. I'm removing the component from the issue.

Actually I cannot remove the component. So if you do reopen it, please remove the component, or it will be closed again. I think you may need to add the "core" component, since your suggestion it broader.
