When installing plugins a restart of the Hudson is required. It would be helpful
to a button "Restart on next Idle" which causes Hudson to restart if it has idle
time. (Means: no jobs are running and Hudson is waiting for a new event)

[JENKINS-3146] Update Center should have a "Restart" option

this was implemented at some point... "Restart When No Jobs Are Running" button
          on platforms that support restart.

I only have a Windows system. But nor in Tomcat6 nor directly started via
embedded Winstone I could find the restart-button in version 1.333.

Could you please elaborate more about "platforms which supports restart"? Maybe
we could enhance the Wiki ...
