Currently I have 1700+ jobs in Jenkins and each of them has its build environment XML file, all they all weigh more than 6 gigs in total.
After rebooting the machine Jenkins won't load anymore (it has been stuck at the loading screen for more than 12 hours before I finally stopped it). When I deleted the build environment files Jenkins took off and loaded within a few moments.
Before rebooting I experienced loading issues all over Jenkins, so I deduced that it's been trying to load the build environment files. I could try to give the machine more RAM, but before installing the build environment plugin I had no memory/performance issues.
