GIT Polling Does Not Activate After Multibranch Plugin Creates SubProject

Currently, the multibranch plugin or the underlying dependency is not correctly setting up the subprojects with GIT Polling enabled created by multibranch plugin. The subprojects are created fine but the GIT Polling is not working when Multi-branch automatically creates the subproject. However, if I click on "Configure" any sub-projects and press "Save", the GIT Polling starts to work. Currently, I don't see a good workaround, except to go into every subproject and manually re-save the subproject one-by-one, thus defeating the purpose of automatic management of jobs per branch.
