The Usage Statistics option is randomly displayed in the global configuration page.

      The Usage Statistics option is displayed (without a heading) under the Maven Project Configuation section in the Jenkins global configuration page.

      This lack of categorisation makes the option less noticeable which may be perceived as unethical / hidden.
