Issue with JIRA plugins in JENKINS

    • Windows Server 2012 R2, Jenkins Version-1.674, Jira Plugin-2.1, jira-ext plugin-0.2

      We are using JIRA 7, and our Jenkins version is 1.647. Our scm is SVN, and we want to resolve labels, and mail it to concerned teams. Lets say a developer updated svn cmnt with EARN-34, our plugins should resolve as jira.xyz.com, and mail it to concerned team. I have installed JIRA plugin, and configured the url and password. I have used the pattern '(EARN-[0-9]+)' in JIRA lugin, and JIRA ext plugins. The same thing I have configured in jira ext plugins:url ,and pattern. Is there anything else I need to add?

          There is no need for you to provide JIRA pattern, the defaults should work.

          You need to configure a post-build task "Update relevant JIRA issues".
          Jenkins jira-plugin will post-comments to JIRA.
          Sending e-mails to the relevant users(JIRA ticket watchers) is done by JIRA, not by Jenkins/jira-plugin.

          Since, we are on develeopment phase. We want to incorporate entire jira issues, which had been covered in development. The developer checks out the code with the svn comment "EARN-123", and I have configured email ext plugin to send developers cmnt to everyone. The present scenario provides comment plain text "EARN-123"
          I want this to be resolved as http://xyz.com/earn-123, and this should be emailed to everyone.

          Your question sounds like a JIRA configuration question, not a plugin bug. If I understood your problem correctly, I gave you a sample solution for this, try to experiment with this.
