Client - Win 7 Enterprise, Browser: IE (All versions, inc Edge)

      Hi,

We have NegotiateSSO installed and configured with the default Negotiate settings. It works in Chrome, however in IE (any version), no builds are triggered when either the Build Now or Schedule a Build buttons are clicked and instead a 401 response is returned. 401 responses are also returned when the build queue and other auto refresh actions are launched. This is intermittent as sometimes it works.

When the build launch doesn't work, the following error appears in the browser console:

XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x2eef, Could not complete the operation due to error 00002eef

      Works fine from Chrome.

In Fiddler it appears the authorization header is being sent along with the cookie containing J.SESSIONID. If we remove the authorization header, the request is successful.

We are using Project-based Matrix Authorization Strategy auth.

      Thanks

Could I have you try the latest snapshot from https://jenkins.ci.cloudbees.com/job/plugins/job/negotiatesso-plugin/1/org.jenkins-ci.plugins$NegotiateSSO/ ?

There have been some changes in how some of the authentication exceptions are handled; I want to know if that resolves this issue.

I installed the snapshot as you suggested, unfortunately still got the same message above. Both auth and cookie headers still set.
