It's not possible to configure the "meta-project" to have the standard "maven-style" option "Build whenever a SNAPSHOT dependency is built", and so child/sub-projects can't have this option preconfigured at creation time.

I have the same problem with https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Maven+Dependency+Update+trigger. Trigger is not exposed and transfered to child/sub projects.

It would be great if all "standard" (ie not multi branch) job triggers could be pre-configured on multi-branch projects too.
