The collapse animation on Safari is a little funky. If you feel his is unsightly please let me know - I am happy to spend a little more time researching for a fix. Alternatively we could just do a fade-out on webkit which should look cleaner, but stick with the collapse+fade on Chrome / Firefox. I am open to feedback on the animation in general, I probably don't have the best sense for what looks really great.
