      Allow Tokens via the Token Macros plugin, this would be very useful so that jobs can be used for multiple purposes but also so that versions can be variable defined.

          It would in the sense of being able to configure Jenkins templates. If you're not familiar you can create one common job and share it's setup with other jobs without copying it. So if you change the template everything using it gets updated as well. 

          So, being able use variables for the app name, deployable, basically all the fields, would allow that to be done.
