After the debacle of JENKINS-37300, EZ-templates would quite like to support templating of multijob instances. From observation, this was blocked by missing a template build step feature.

          [JENKINS-37972] EZ-Templates support Multijob plugin

This will be a great plugin to support. You'd need to allow the jobs implementing the multijob template to retain local multijob phases.

drekbour what effort is required to get the ez template plugin updated to support the multijob plugin?

          https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Multijob+Plugin

Multijob type job is identical to the freestyle jobs with only one exception, you can add MultiJob Phases (build step) to trigger other jobs. so the ez template would need to be able to exclude multijob phases from the template. Similar to what you have with the other plugins. ("Retain local Multijob Phases")

1 proper test suite (I'm working on this with each release)
2 strong and independent solution to linked jira JENKINS-38638. This is hard to do in a clean way.

I'm currently finishing support for pipeline plugin (awaiting good tests). When that is done, multijob is the next but it means I would not expect anything before summer.

update: I'll have a think if we can develop a custom multi-job solution into ez-templates without requiring JENKINS-38638 (but also, critically, not constraining any future implementation of it)
