The character used to delimit selected values both in multi selection and check boxes choice type is comma (',').

If any selected value contains any comma there's no way to tokenize selected values properly.

Adding and advanced option to define the values separator for multiselection choice it should be useful in this case.

Extended Choice Parameter plugin has a delimiter configuration implemented: see JENKINS-17518
