Sort workspace folder by descending number order

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

      Hello,
We would like to have a Feature (case isn't exists) which sort folder inside workspace according to descending number since we have autobuild folder with archive of builds and the order of the folders is ascending which results that old builds are up in the page instead of down.

I attached a picture to show the problem. (you can see that build 100 is up while build 651 is the latest)

      Jenkins version is: 1.569

      Regards,
      Nitzan

Reassigned the issue to the core since the feature request will require changes there (e.g. extension point for item sorting).
IMHO the use-case is a bit artificial, but that's why we have so many extension points in the core.

That's not how workspaces are supposed to be used, so I doubt we'll ever address this in core.

Under "we" danielbeck likely means the Jekins core team. But any well-designed pull requests (e.g. adding proper extension points to the core) will be appreciated
