Until this is solved, can you please share a working trick for configure block, so this plugin can be used with pipelines?

I think one difficulty is the existing ability to save recent new choices - with typical pipelines it would need to git-commit changes to Jenkinsfile or some included helper file per repo/branch... or track stuff in global config variables...

Not planned supporting Job DSL or pipeline.

Editable choice plugin, which supports pipeline is now available: https://plugins.jenkins.io/editable-choice/

Please try that instead.
