      In scope

      • Create a new alerts component in the JDL
        • Success, Error, Info and Warning variants
        • They have a "title" and "description". E.g. in the screenshot below "Error" would be a title and the text next to it would be the description
        • Zeplin https://zpl.io/ZKMPWD
      • When the user sees an unsupported input then we link to the screen in Jenkins Classic as per the mockup
      • If there >= 1 unsupported input show this message and do not render the form

      Notes

      • We support most of the input types that people actually use so we just need a catch all.
      • Will be hit very infrequently - there's nothing special to do here.

brody is that error bar thing a new component for the JDL? can this ticket get more of a description about what it is and how it is supposed to be used? Are there any more variants?

Yes, this is an ideal element to be added to the JDL.

This is the same styling as the standard Alerts that would live, full width, just below the Header/Navbar when needed.

jamesdumay We'll need to brain storm where the standard Alerts will be used. Possibly to replace the rainbow of Header colours? Which means there could be treatments for each status, plus a more general one.

brody so do you want a error, warning, success treatment in the JDL? I think that is trivial to do. The colors would be different so we just need to define those.

jamesdumay At the moment, i don't know what the exact use cases are and don't want to add things to the JDL that haven't been thought out.

I could mock up the 3 types if you're confident they'll be used.

brody we can just get the component you have designed in there now.

You could add a breakpoint <= 500px width for this design & > 500px previous single lined design. Just a (possibly bad) thought.

          That is the current stand.
