Jenkins triggers rebuild prod branch without any code changes

      I want to share with you issue with the source control-build server.
      I found that the build server; Jenkins, triggered rebuilding the production branch without any changes in the production code/branch with an old commit and the change was triggered by SCM!.

      Do you know why?

          This happened as well to me, a commit to a different branch triggered a rebuild of a production branch (and every other branch since the history of time) which caused a deployment saying it was triggered by SCM. Not sure what plugin caused it, but it started around with the upgrade of "git-plugin" to 4.0.0-rc
